Jeff,
There is a WIXer with a Pt-23 SL that came out of Illinois and went to Florida maybe two years ago. I'm not sure he posts very often but a search for "PT-23" might find him. I've got his contact information on my home computer so I'll try to find it this evening in case you don't find him via the search.

N3NJeff,

I do not have a PT-23, but I do have 2 PT-19 projects. Is there anything that I mite be able to help with?

You can see photos of one of my projects at:
http://web.mac.com/ibnfe2/Rick/Projects ... PT-19.html

I have also rewritten the parts manual, since I did not like the way it was laid out. While I was at it I also wrote a PT-19 series parts interchange manual. I still need to add the blueprint data to it, before it is ready to publish.

Steve Dennis (and his father) who is also on this fourm is very knowlegeable on PT-19 series aircraft also.

Laterrrrrr

You might try contacting Mark Denest in PA or Harland Avezzie in Westfield, MA.
Both have extensive knowledge on the 23.

Well, yes and no. Both Mr. Denest and Mr. Dennis would be good sources of Cornell info.

Thanks guys for the help. What I was initally trying to find out is if there is a network of people that love these things like a few of us who are N3N followers. Ihad started a group site on Yahoo where we can share information and parts sources for the N so I was wondering if there was one for the PT-23

I asked because a co-worker who is a mechanic is interested in a PT-23 project that I showed him. I have kind of worked him into the idea of taking it on so I thought I would help convince him by showing him what is out there for information.

I believe he will get the project as I got a message from him this am that it is still available so we may be on a road trip sometime soon.

I am glad to see that a few wixers are on here with the PT-23. Kind of makes me feel alone with the N3N cause I think I am the only one!! :hide: Dont worry guys, you wont here me bash on the 19/23 series..........................but you 17 guys...............well I can try to be nice :bs:

Harland Avezzie knows the PT-23 pretty well and has some parts and helped many with their projects including Paul Poberezny.
PM me if you want his info.
Jerry

3rd shift?! Good luck with that. I'm just icing my knees after moving furniture the last two days. I'm hoping to be walking upright again by first day on the new job Monday. :P
