Some sites list 26, 7 flying, is this accurate?

The new Classic Wings down under has a shot of the Tillamook Lightning flying with the Oscar. I'd love to see that in person!

Consolidated -Vultee constructed about 113 P-38's at their Nashille,TN plant. Are any of the P-38 survivors from this batch?.

Wow!!! That's MAJOR warbird news! I'm surprised nobody here has made a thread about those planes, most of which haven't flown in over a decade, if at all!

Is there a change in the Museum's flying policy? Are they now going to be a flying museum again, or is this more of a "one-off" event? Anybody have details?

Also, in this picture - is it me - or does that canopy look a little over-sized? Or perhaps is it because the pilot is sitting so low, it makes his head look small and the canopy big?

looks like a multi-row radial to me, with twin turbo/superchargers...maybe a 3350 out of a B-29? Doesn't look like the Pacific to me, so maybe a Washington?
