.

The AARG's P40 is currently undergoing a major rebuild of the fuselage by long term member Ashley Briggs, and has been relocated from Melbourne, to Wangaratta ,and now to a privately leased hangar at Point Cook.

It is expected the completed fuselage and engine installation will be completed and back on display at Moorabbin in @3 years time at the current rate of progress, the instrument panel has already been restored for future reinstallation.

Although not up to date, some photo and details of the work level being undertaken is described on the Museum's website at http://aarg.com.au/RestoreKittyhawk.htm

The museum continues to pursue wings and other parts to complete the aircrafts restoration.
