I was tempted to try...
On the landing we were supposed to have the first guy land at the 4000' mark and then space out every 1000' after that per tower. Guy ahead of me was having radio issues and didn't catch that, so I had to adjust my landing quite a bit. It WAS kind of fun honoring the tower's instruction to "keep up your speed - you've got a long way to taxi" :D I did a wheel landing and then basically kept the power up and taxied at 40mph down the runway past the crowd with the tail up for almost a mile!
Oh, and if you do it for currency, remember they have to be full stops if in a taildragger.

Did you see this: http://www.asb.tv/forums/index.php?showtopic=7217
Personally, I'm not at the point where I'd be anywhere close to doing that - at least not with an aircraft I don't own. It's still fun to dream a bit!

Reminds me of a time when a customer in Fla. called and wanted a pre purchase done on a J-3. After checking it out and telling him it was good he said he would send a pilot to pick it up. Guess who showed up to ferry it...................yeah not a bad pilot............Kermit Weeks!!!!!!!
