F Blue Nemesis, Carrier Air Group 101 (CVG-101), fly past the aircraft carrier USS Boxer (CV-21), during combat operations off Korea on 4 September 1951. The planes are BuNos 124537 (left) and 124539, which were flown by Lt. John D. Ely, USNR, and Lt(JG) J.G. Stranlund, USNR. Date 4 September 1951

Very nice pics! I'm sure the pilot and deck crew of that night shot were not too happy with that flash going off in their face! A flight deck at night is a dangerous enough place without blinding them, a night launch after having your night vision wiped has got to be a really fun trip!
