Hi Chris--
Thanx for the vector...always liked the Ki84, sad that there seems to be just the one survivor. Unless I'm very much mistaken the one now in the museum in Japan is the same one owned in the Sixties by Ed Maloney (rescued from the NASM "downsizing") and for a while actually flown from Ontario CA as N3385G with its original Homare engine! Another tip o' the hat to Mr M; the Ki84 could have been lost had he not taken it on from the space-constrained Smithsonian. (Hm. How about using the Ki84 as a pattern for some new ones, maybe using R2800s...?)
