99th Ftr Sqdn in Italy escorted bombers. Their claim to fame is that they never lost a bomber to enemy fighters

I was hip to the Tuskeegee airmen before the Tuskeegee airmen were hip!
Its taken way too long,but they're story is finally known.A group of my heros
always!
