Jolly Rogers B-24

Wed Dec 09, 2009 10:42 pm

Al Rogan just died, he was the father of a friend, and a B-24 navigator, middle of the back row in this photo:

Don't suppose anybody out there knows the name of this B-24 (if it had one, pilot was John Farrell, back row far left), or any other info on Al Rogan or B-24s he crewed?

Heres some quick sleuthing. From my favorite bomb squadron. Sad to see another Jolly Roger go west. :( It sucked when my grandfather went too. He was in the 320th as a flight engineer/top turret gunner.

John Farrell is still around...I'll forward the link to him.

I didn't realize Farrell lives in St.Louis. Hopefully the newspaper will do an article on him.
