I'm looking for anyone who might have access to an auction catalog from the late Harry Doan estate and/or the auction results. Specifically, I'd like to know any information on S-55's or their components sold at the auction, October 30, 1992. Scans would be great.
Also, Doan traded the HRS-1 (BuNo127828, painted as BoNo127834) that is on display with the USMC at Quantico for at least one T-28 around 1985. Did that HRS-1 have any civilian use between 1957 when it was struck off charge, used as a training aid at NAS Memphis, and when it was delivered to the USMC Museum?
Did anyone ever visit Doan's Heliport in South Daytona, FL?
