Saw this picture over at Fence Check...
Are these Cessna 337's or or is this an O-2 flying in Baghdad?

Looks like the Air Force pulled some O-2's out of the bone yard for the Iraqi military to use... makes sense when you think of it. Although, in looking at it, the door doesn't have all those observation windows in it... so might be a -337 afterall.
Cheers,
Richard

The extra door windows were on the right side of the a/c not the left. So, it MAY be an O-2. Way cool! Play Misty for me!

The first two are pictures of a Cessna 208B Caravan. These are the first or among the first aircraft operated by Iraqi aircrew in the new Air Force. I think they have a U designation in the USAF but can't remember what it is. Didn't know about the O-2s. I work on the civilian versions of both types.

John,
I have seen a few Caravans in Fort Worth at the ATK hanger. Some are destined for Colombia and some I'm sure were Iraq bound.
Like this one with Helfires hanging from the wings...!

I think they are 337's that are civilian contract, photomapping if I remember what I was told by a A&P headhunter.
