Thanks for the post. Ah the good old days at Meadowlark! Orange County was very different then but everything else is as well. Most is long gone. It sure was fun!

Yeah, most of those places are unrecognizable now. If you ever wonder why there is an "Airport Road" in the middle of a city with no airport in sight...

I remember the Connies, DC-6s, P-3s and A-6s flying from NAS Glenview, Chicagoland Airport in Half Day (F6F and T-28 used to be there) and Sky Harbor Airport in Northbrook, IL.
