I always enjoyed reading Shakespeare...

But how were your grades in reading comprehension?

August, right now, this week and into next, my 26 year old Son Charles is taking his finals for law school and if he passes he will be a LAWYER. He has also been working as an assistant district attorney.

I tried to raise him right to be something honorable like Merlin engine rebuilder, but he chose the dark side. I am proud of all the hard work that he has put in, and the determination that he has shown.

And Rich, I am sure glad the vet has won, I thought the homeowners were fighting a war that they could not win in the end.

I do think my idea of the camels would have been a lot more fun.

Hey Bill, wow, time flies, I wondered how Charles was doing, but didn't realize he is a 3L yet. So now he's looking at a fun summer of Bar-Bri and one more exam, then he'll have his meal ticket. Good for him! It's a fun field, it has some of the brightest and most decent people I know, also some of the biggest pricks, who have their entertainment value. Wish him luck and success for me.

Bill, further on the subject of lawyers, This decision came down yesterday in the Broadcom options backdating case and is quickly going viral in the profession. For Charles, as a prosecutor, this is a must-read if he has not seen it already. Some of my colleagues say this decision has made them proud to be lawyers, others have a different reaction.
