That first pic reminds me of my time in the Navy working on the E2C Hawkeyes and some Ens/Jg would come around while finishing up an engine change and ask all kind of ????'s till you told them in so many words to just beat it, With all due respect of course :twisted: :twisted: :twisted:

Nice picture of P47 229150 'Dottie Mae's' sister ship - only 11 digits apart.

Closest one I have seen to her.

Note lower fuselage D-Day stripes.
