Got in last night to Chicago - Embraer N223SW from PSP to LAX then 757 N522UA to ORD. Nice fresh snow on the ground that may be washed away by rain and sleet by Friday . Will try to get some photos at the NAS Glenview museum if they're open before the 30th.

Happy holidays and happy landings to all my fellow WIXers! :santa:

We're under various watches and warnings here..expecting sleet, snow, freezing rain etc. over the next 24 hours. I'm planning to drive over to my sister's on Christmas..looks like by the time we head out it will be above freezing and turned to all rain (I hope.)

Great news! Forecasted snow has been updated to 22 inches by Saturday A.M. This weekend the Minnesota National Guard will be offering free Chinook rides for any survivors they can find! Yee-hah!

Merry Christmas, WIXers! Thanks for your interest in "Hot Stuff" this year. Rain to snow here...typical Indiana mixed bag of weather.

And best Christmas wishes from Lodi, WI! We got 1/4" of ice on top of the snow last night - looks like rain all day today which spells certain doom for any holiday snowmobiling :(

Here's to a happy & safe New Year for all.
