I agree with the initiative . Showing them where the bins get emptied and where the brooms are is basically telling them that its their responsibility . They should automatically do that instead of just standing around waiting for something to do !

My 12yo daughter has been able to weld for the past 3 years...Runs my Miller 210 quite well. About to start with the Syncro 200 & just today wanted to drive ther F250 around the airfield...:)

The thought of just how much damage a F series Ford could do to a Gulfstream gave me pause for thought ;)

Someone coined the term "Generation XBox" for this generation. They grew up with parents trying to be their best friends, instant gratification, and being able to just start a new game if they screwed something up.

You see it with kids mastering a game like Rock Band or Guitar Hero, but throwing down the "real" instrument because it takes too much time to learn and the fundamentals are just too boring.

There are definitely some good kids out there, though. You just got to get through the chaff to find the wheat.
