This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

Scott,
Keep up the good work. You run an excellent site, and you should be very proud. It's unfortunate that you have to, on occasion, take on the role of 2nd grade teacher. I do believe that the WIX board is much better off having a strong administrator who is not afraid to make a decision for the good of the community.

Scott, I appreciate your enthusiasm in running this forum. There are always people that just want to hear themselves talk, with a minimal amount of knowledge. Most people don't even realize who they may be in a discussion with! There are many times I won't say anything if the subject is headed in the wrong direction, only because of the people in the discussion and someone usually comes along and straightens them out. I don't think folks know who reads this forum and how much reprocussion comes down on our industry because of the 2nd grade mentality on it! This is how I make my living and when things are misunderstood or misquoted by the Want-ta-bee's on this forum I seam to drift further away from wanting to discuss anything! Respectfully,

Hmmmm... The number of posts (not related to this thread) seem to have gone way up today!

I knew that, Scott. However, I'm more partial to Joker, Catwoman, or (best and scariest of all) SCARECROW!

Scott:
Although we've never met and I'm not really active posting things here, I do find the forum valuable and the exchange of information among folks who really know something is what the warbird movement has always needed. When you get reps from Cavanaugh, John Lane's outfit, Carl Sholl, and others weighing in, then you've got the right people. I'm also glad that some of my CAF buds occasionally contribute.

This forum is great, Scott. Keep it going.
Us NZ'ers need a laugh as some of the other forums are just too serious.
Cheers

Larry H. our first crew chief on the B-25 had a saying for folks like HVD IV. "An Aligator mouth with a hummingbird *ss".

I wholeheartedly agree with all of the compliments on this thread, Scott! You run a great board that I read very regularly and I learn a lot from other warbird enthusiasts around the world. Keep up the good work. Thanks for making a difficult decision.
regards, Dennis
