Did you take into account that the video doesn't tell the whole truth about what happened? That there is a descent of the ground in that spot that makes it appear the wing is much closer to the ground than it really ever was?

All I know is that you can see many people in front of that line of aircraft only feet away from the shadow form the wing of the Airbus. I don't care how much planning went into that event, or what was overhaulded in the aircraft prior to the event. I wonder if everyone walking on the flight line signed a wavor saying they didn't mind being killed by an out of control Airbus for the sake of this stunt. I could care less how low and fast he wants to fly but don't do it in close enough proximity to other people to endanger them. As they say about low passes: You can only tie the record.

Yes, I have, and that's not the biggest issue I have with it. The most unsafe aspect of the whole thing is the overflight of the aircraft and people on the flightline. If the Airbus would have done those maneuvers AWAY from the crowdline, I would have been much more comfortable with it.

The crew of the Swiss B-25 presents in the airshow was shocked by this presentation, only 20 or 30 meter from the crowd.
The Airbus wasn't flying on a downind ground, but directly over the runway.
With the wingtip only 2 meter above the ground, if you suffer an engine failure, a birdstrike or a simply turbulence, you have all the probability to hit the ground very close the public.

According, differents crews attending this airshow and who discussed with other TAP pilots present on the ground, the pilot at the control is a chief division at the TAP and virtually "untouchable" and that was not the first time, he had a major opposition after perfoming a flying presentation.

Some crew have explain that if the comming years, this pilot will be again in the show, they refuse to come back.
