That should be real soon. We have been working with the web designer and the ticketing company over the holidays and I think we are real close.
Thanks

Hi there

A group of us from England are hoping to attend 'Thunder Over Michigan 2010' as the potential sight of all these B-17's together is very exciting indeed.

I will keep returning to this topic/thread regularly to see the updated participants list.

We had Don Brooks' Liberty Foundation B-17 G 'Liberty Belle' over here in 2008, which got all us really excited. I took the chance opportunity to get a shot of my 41 Chrysler alongside the Belle - Both classic examples of US mass-production at its finest!

Best Regards and I'm certainly enjoying this newly discovered forum!

How far in advance to the hotels get booked up? Does anyone have a recommendation on where to go? I'd be coming in from the west.

I suggest you start looking now. Some of the closer ones are showing "No availability" for that weekend.

Thanks for the report Joe but obviously someone at the Yankee Air Museum's membership meeting is getting a little overzealous.
We do not have 11 B-17's signed on for Thunder. There are only 10 B-17's that are "regular flyers" that could feasibly attend the 2010 air show. While we have extended invitations to all 10 we are still securing final agreements with a few of them, most are booked however.
Just want to make sure the show line-up is not misrepresented.
Kevin the honest :-)

With that many B-17s, the sound is going to be incredible. Might even be forced to bring the video camera.
You sure the show can't be moved up to Jan. 16-17? :D
Never mind. After thinking about it, I don't really want to be in Michigan in January.
I'm unhappy with temperature under 70.

Greg,
I would recommend Canton, MI. It is 5-10 minutes N/E of the show and you shouldn't have a problem with availability.

Mark
