Forgive me if you think I am beating a dead horse here, but as a proud Canadian, and an engineer working in the defense industry, I just can't help but wonder every once and a while what might have been if the Avro Canada's Arrow project had not been cancelled.
Well today a link to a CDC site about the Arrow landed on my lap. Here is that link...

Now if you ever wondered, hoped or prayed that one got away you are going to find this a terrible tease, but go down and click on the "#11 Avro Mania" link, then click to listen to the audio clip (you will need good bandwidth). I can't help but wonder if some familiar shape will be towed out of some distant hanger some day.
