Roadworthy T-28

Sun Jun 26, 2005 1:16 am

Hi All,

I was perusing through Airliners.net this evening and came across a rather interesting photo. I thought I would share this one with you. Seems a T-28 made an emergency landing in California on a highway. MANY hearty congrats for the pilot getting it down safe and sound. I do hope that posting the link here doesn't violate anything and if so...feel free to remove it with my apologies.

Regards,

Paul

I haven't seen that one yet. My friend said he helped bring it back, and I think that's him at the back of the truck! Very cool. I'll forward the link to him.

Thanks Paul!

Hi O.P. ,

My pleasure to post this. Glad that someone out there could make some use of it for their pleasure and info. I was just a bit concerned about posting the link here and if there were any negative ramifications about it.

Glad to help if I can,

Paul

Hi Paul!

There was another link on this one awhile back,,,

http://warbirdinformationexchange.org/p ... php?t=3748

I think it was Roger Cain, who got to talk to him, or hear him talk about it, and I think he posted it here, but I guess I'm having an off brain day (those seem to be more frequent in my newfound middle age), I can't find the link.

Roger, Bro, Help a brother out here :D

Great landing! That dude probably needs a wheelbarrow to get around. That took some big ones.

I have some short video of that plane actually flying(shameless plug) Here,

I just sent the link to my bud. Hopefully he'll have something to say and I can repost it here.
