Hey Folks
I was sitting in my office today and I was looking a framed poster of mine of a B-24 over the Pacific. I've had this poster since before I was in High School. Anyways I got to wondering whatever happened to this particular B-24. I checked Joe Baugher's website and came up with nada. Searched www.b24bestweb.com and found the image I have on my wall and says she's was 5th AF 90th bomb group 321 bomb squadron. I was wondering if anyone help me find out anymore information about this aircraft and ultimately her fate? Thanks

Supposedly not all of the 90th's aircraft made it back to the states. According to www.90thbombgroup.com several aircraft were left behind and were eventually scrapped in '46 time frame at what is know Jackson airport. I was just wondering if the aircraft was lost on a mission or if it did infact survive the war. Any ideas where to look to see if she was lost in combat or to see if she was scrapped stateside? Thanks

Shay, My father flew escort mission for the 90th many times and mentioned, the "Betsy" bomber. Regards,
