Those are some nice projects! :D Great pics Jack. Love seeing those ole NARF P-Cola Data Plates on SNJ's. We had an SNJ-4, N224X, when I was with the Cajun Wing CAF, that bird had a NARF Data Plate from the 50's, was a good bird, as far as I know, it's still flying. 8)

As I'm from New Zealand my eyes were drawn to the yellow (Champ?) with our Air Force Roundel and RNZAF on the side!! Can anyone enlighten me as to why those marking are there? Kiwi thats homesick perhaps?

Yes it does look nice. Our Harvards had the all over yellow scheme during the war but not the Kiwi roundel which appeared in 1972 (I think). Wartime was the standard RAF style with some modifications in colour (ie no RED!!! ). Postwar it was back to red white blue roundels until they came up with the white fernleaf symbol. Yes some smarties called us White Feather Airways!! So we topped that by using the Kiwi.............a flightless bird! We love it though and its nice to see our emblem flying the friendly skies!

It's about half done and the wings are hanging in the barn.
After the Staggerwing is done then the Eaglerock will be assembled and finished.
Then the Relient will get the treatment. I'll take pics of it next time I go up!

Nice photos Jack. The faded advertisment on the barn is way kool. I love seeing those.
