This is very sad news.
I just got back from a week in Mexico to find this thread.
A true American Hero and a gentleman.
I had the pleasure of moderating several panel discussions with Lt.Col.
Archer a few years back and it was an honor and a pleasure working with him and the other Tuskegee panelists. Every time I would cross paths he always remembered me and we would talk about his family. Like many others, I last had the opportunity to speak with him at the 2007 GML in Ohio.
My condolences to his family and it is with a heavy heart that I say, "Godspeed Colonel".
