Pete, that DVD is almost as much a surprise to me as to you. Here is what I know.

A few years ago those guys came to me to make a Spitfire film. They were excellent photographers but not pilots or warbird people. We flew several times out of Aspen and Rifle. It was hard work, but fun and they seemed pleased with the result.

They paid a small fee for the airplane expenses, and they were supposed to give me a copy of their tapes and finished product.

They never fulfilled that part of the deal, despite several phone calls. Erik Goodall did not answer the last letter that I sent to him at the address I had in L. A. area. I am surprised and regret that.

The photo quality seems very good. One disappointment is they put some weird star wars music on there which blots out the sound of the Merlin engine, at times. I guess that it just the artistic way of doing it.
