I heard on the news this morning that the man who saved Buckingham Palace during The Battle Of Britain, Sergent Ray Holmes has died at the age of 90. This guy must have really had a "set" to ram his Hurri into a Dornier cutting off the tail after running out of ammo. Ladies & Gentlemen we will never again see the likes of that generation. Heres a Cheers to a true hero!
Best Regards
Robbie :spit2

Agreed! I bet the man is doing barrel rolls through the skies right now in a Hurri!

I saw his story on the History Channel a couple of months ago. Some history detectives dug up the engine block from his Hurricane in the middle of a busy intersection. It's great that he was on hand for the event and lived to see the interest in his exploits.
