I have a set of NOS Curtiss Electric Propellers for it if anyone involved in the project is interested. They are a factory matched set in the original box and in perfect condition.

i have been following the saga of this plane since my teenage years when i bought a magazine at a bus terminal titled ghosts of the pacific i had a model of the p61 hanging in my room by invisible filiment and was thrilled as a teenager that some one was rescuing one i am now 45 and check the maam web sight weekly for updates.i plan on making a pilgramage to the maam museum in the next year in person it has been a great trip over the years watching this project progress.i live very close to the air museum in trenton ontario so if any of you want detailed pics of the planes ther let me know they also have some aero engines on display including a merlin and a 3350 turbo compound planes outside on display include an ARGUS a Grumman tracker and a DC3 for all you prop heads out there

Greg, I'll say it again. Does MAAM need any other bits and pieces for the P-61? I'm a very little fish in the warbird pond, but I've been scrounging bits for various warbird projects for more years than I care to count. WIX is, without question, the biggest hangout for scroungers. The Pauls having NOS Curtiss props is just one more example of "who woulda' thunk".

Well, let me rephrase that.

The only bits I scrounge and keep anymore are TBY. Although I have no P-61 parts cache, I still scrounge parts for other folks' projects. Either MAAM has a list of needs, or they don't.

Great pictures! I'm curious about the different primer colors. Was it like that from the factory or are they doing that to denote old vs. new? This is not to criticize I'm just interested in why the difference.

I saw on the Vintage Leather Jacket Forum, that the P-61 was under a tent.

Once restored, it would be neat if they initially flew it in polished metal for a while, then had a primer mixed in olive drab and USAAC markings, and then later applied the final coat of black. A chance to photo all three color schemes.

That's a really great idea, and Id love to see her in all 3 schemes. After all they did it with the All American / Witchcraft.
