What? No one has mentioned Luke Skywalker or Wedge Antilles yet? Or, the "Old Man" who was flying the Y-Wing fighter in the original: "Stay on target....stay on target".

I was probably one of three people who actually watched "Tales of the Gold Monkey". It was basically "Buck Rodgers in the 25th Century" moved back to the late 1930s.

Also, what about the other pilots in "Baa Baa Black Sheep"? Gutterman? French? Boyle?

I definately watched and loved Tales of the Gold Monkey when i was a kid, but it's been so long since it was on TV here I can't recall much about it. I'd love to see it again. Does anyone have a copy?

As for 'Black Sheep Squadron'/'Baa Baa Black Sheep', I know it seemed like a load of total bullsh!t, but weren't the characters allegedly based on fact rather than fiction?

And a little less seriously, there's Buzz Sherwood, owner of Buzz Off Airlines:

(too bad the show didn't have the budget for some aerial stunt work!)

Mitchell Gant - "Firefox"
Frank Murphy - "Blue Thunder"
Stringfellow Hawke - "Airwolf"
Does TV's "Black Sheep Squadron" Pappy Boyington count? :)

It wasn't a Me 108, it was a Bucker Bu 181(?).

I love the crew of airwolf and Blue Thunder.

Also, does anyone remember the friend of macgyver who was a pilot. He usually flew DC-3's and beavers
