Ok, I just read the below article a moment ago and I still don't really understand it. I'd never heard of the game before, and I still don't know if they're talking real money, or pretend money. Can someone clue me in?
http://tech.ca.msn.com/canadianpress-ar ... d=23416812If I read it right, somebody just spent real money to by a pretend object in some sort of video game world.
Seems absolutely ridiculous to me, but then again, people can do what they want wit their money. And, it's just like spending money on non-tangible things like rock concerts, or vacations. In the end the money's gone and you've got nothing in your hands. At least there's real memories produced in real life. Ah well, I shouldn't get upset about it. In a way it's kind of neat.... just not something I would do.
Peace,
David
