I’d be more offended if he wore a real rank like Naval Captain.

Col.

I spent 10 years of my life in the United States Air Force. I spent 1 Year in Desert Storm and received many many medals while serving my country.

I got out as a MSgt and to be honest, I could care less what people have as a "handle" or "nickname" out here.

All I am saying is that, your name is fine with me and anyone who has the balls to cry about such petty things, should be whipped with a wet noodle 1,000 times over.

My nickname in highschool with "General" and another pal of mine was "Colonel" He ended up in the Army Rangers, and till this day, we still call each other by our nicknames.

Live life to the fullest and remember Don't sweat the petty stuff and Dont pet the sweaty stuff :!:

Peace out!

I'm not sure. Did you leave it next to the cone of silence?

Like Brad Pilgrim and JCW, I am also in the US Air Force. I don't have any beef with Rob's handle here on the board, because I know it's tongue-in-cheek and was reading the WIX when the original Snowball Militia discussion happened.

Even if I didn't, though, I am adult enough to understand that this is the *internet* -- it's not as if Rob is parading around in full uniform trying to "be" a Colonel. And, as someone else mentioned, there are thousands of CAF Colonels out there and nobody seems to take issue with them, either.

As a USAF vet, I personally don't have an issue with Rob's handle as he obviously is not attempting to deceive anyone.

I was thinking of changing my handle as well to "el Presidente" or maybe just Commander and Chief

regards,

t~
