This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

Yes and no, I'm working on it right now. Some things have gotten in the way of my attention to it.

Again guys, please accept my apology for being really late on this. I've been juggling work and a couple of other projects and this one is REALLY far behind.
Here's the link to the compiled group of photos I got via email and on this thread:
http://picasaweb.google.com/WIXPhotoContest/Next step is to finish compiling the captions and then get all of the judges together and make the decisions. If any one of the judges has more time than I have, I'll give you the account password and you can help me with the captions and moving the photos into the proper categories.

Hello Ryan,
A quick question; I've noticed that not all on the photos in the contest thread are on the picasaweb site and I haven't seen any new ones added in a week or so. Are you in the process of adding all the entries to the picasaweb page?
Thanks, Lyle

Well, I thought all of them were there now. I'll have to go back and check. I honestly had lots of time for this back in December and then I started getting a lot busier.

Hey guys, please don't give up on me over this. I'm studying for the CFII written test at the end of the week and have two days of solid flying until late and a family trip in between. I check in here every once in a while now for a break in the action, but I don't have enough time to really get the contest wrapped. Please someone email me on Monday and I'll try to get back on it.

Well, I finally found some time (rainy day with thunderstorms and no students...

) to get the albums all captioned and organized. This thing would've been a lot easier to do if folks could've just submitted their own photos and captions instead of the way I did it. My mistake - and a big headache for me as well.
OK, all of you that indicated that you were willing to help me do the judging, please check in ASAP...
Here's the link to the albums and categories:
http://picasaweb.google.com/WIXPhotoContest/If you have been watching the photo contest, please consider dropping by the contest album and leaving some comments. If you like a photo, please leave a positive comment below. People's choice will be determined by the positive, signed comments below the photos, so if you think a photo is worthy, leave your comment and sign it with your WIX id. All comments MUST BE SUBMITTED before the end of the month.
Official judging will end as soon as I can round up the judges and get the decisions made.
Thanks for looking!

The "KeeBird" piston is awaiting a new owner.
Thanks Ryan!

Well, work is being done. I still need the other judges to check in!
Also, no one has commented on the photos at all yet!

Four days now, only one judge has checked in, no comments on the pictures at all?

Judging update: I've had two of four judges check in and only Mustangdriver (Chris) has left me any comments for the people's choice awards. Not a great turnout. I was hoping the process would be a lot less arbitrary, but if I don't start getting more feedback fast, I'm just going to make the decisions and wrap this up...
