Never experienced anything as loud as the back of a B-25. Hope y'all had ear protection (or at leastr switched off your hearing aids)!

Obviously you haven't flown in a Lancaster. Loudest plane I've flown in! The B-25 is quiet in contrast! Those that flew in the Lanc had double hearing aids for a reason in there later years!

I dunno about Canadian service. The word around the hangar is that it is a true C-47 which served with the USAAF in the Pacific theatre, and the new owner's father was a navigator on that very ship! It last served as a freight dog in San Juan, PR, and was flown to FTW a few weeks ago from SJU.
