ZRX61 - the "Double Trouble Two" that you saw at Chino, is one of the Friedkin P-51's, rather than this "Double Trouble Two", belonging to the Military Aviation Museum. The easiest way to tell the two apart, is that the MAM version has a Spit-mirror atop the windscreen, along with other more subtle differences.

Also, did any of the Russian stuff fly?

Never could figure out why some P51 owners appear to think there is a shortage of paint schemes to choose from. At least 3 Old Crows spring to mind, 3 BBD's & others..

None of the Russian ac are flying at this time. The Mig3 hasn't flown yet and the Yak is waiting to be put back together which should be going on soon, it's in the MX hangar now. No word to us on the mx floor about the P-39 but the Mossie should be here for next years show. A-20? are you thinking of the A-26?

Wish the museum would update there overall list of aircraft they have at the museum, let alone the numerous restoration projects they have going on everywhere! I know, I know, in all due time.

I think warbird1 was refering to Jerry's Douglas A-20 which is under rebuild at Precision Aerospace in Wangarratta, Australia. We haven't heard an update on what's been going on there in some time... would be interesting to know!
Cheers,
Richard
