Let us never forget the sacrifices being made 66 years ago today on the beaches of France.

Hats off and glasses raised to 4414 Allied soldiers who gave all 66 years ago.

My dad escorted the gliders in, talk about sacrifice, a lot of those brave men got killed before they ever had chance to leave the aircraft & fight. Thank the Lord for that generation! Thank you Dad for all you did. (111 combat missions)

As a country we should never forget that date. I passed that date onto my two sons. The school system doesn't tell them. I salute all who made it happen years ago. Good post.

Thank you to all!

It's mind boggling all the countries that made this mission!
