Airframe at Rhinebeck

Wed Jul 20, 2005 10:05 pm

Anyone know what this airframe is at Old Rhinebeck? It is stored in the back of one of the hangars. Looks like a biplane... single seater...

Its definately not a DH Puss Moth, so the Kreider-Reisner KR-31 is the most likely machine the fuselage has that sort of look too it.

I think it is much larger than any of those.... it is hard to tell the size in the photo... I think they have a KR31 up in one of the other hangars.

Anyway... almost thought it was the size of a Curtiss Hawk type.

I have a picture of that same airframe, maybe I should go back and try to finish up ID-ing all the airframes before I go back down, If there is no ID when I go back I'll be sure to pick some folks done there for it.
