Delaware OH Aviation Days - June 26/27 - P-51/LT-6 Rides

Just a quick note to fellow Wix'ers...now that Im back in central Ohio to be closer to family Im also bringing up Dixie Wing a/c from the steamy south to the beautiful summer climes of the Midwest...

The CAF Dixie Wing P-51 Red Nose and the Korean War Tribute Lt-6 will be at Delaware Ohio (DLZ) airport for rides and general good fun as part of an Aviation Days fly-in. Free admission to see these planes fly as well as a number of other displays...

In addition, we plan on having the Ohio Wing L-5 there for rides as well (thanks to Wixers that supplied some very nice old L-5 pics for our new ride flyer!)

25 cents/gallon fuel discount for those flying in.

Thanks very much for posting that info. I was not aware of this event. I am a P-51 fanatic and I have not seen that aircraft before so I will be driving down from Detroit on Sunday to check it out.
