From my collection, here's a shot of Avro Lancaster PA474 (known as 'The Bomber' in the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight) in the first post-restoration scheme after being restored to airworthy by 44 Squadron and around the time it joined the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight with whom it is still airworthy. The colours are of Sqn Ldr John Nettleton from the raid for which he was awarded the Victoria Cross.
