The inscription on the plate said: ST 95T6 BLACK HAWK 7.26.1943SPMCO.

Let's hope they can ID the pilot and return him home for burial with proper honors.

Any ideas as to what the markings on the data plate mean? Is Black Hawk a model name or Company name?

There is a town called Black Hawk in Colorado but I doubt if there is any connection.
