Steve Hinton had a big day, handling the flying displays for both Glacier Girl and the FHC P-51D "Upapa epops" (sp?).

Our own WIX hero Lex Cralley also had quite a crowd around the remains of his Brewster Corsair. Lex brought the whole family down, and I had a chance to talk to his two sons for a bit. They talked about all the honks, waves, and thumbs-up they received on the drive down from Minnesota.

Today's special surpise: An afternoon appearance by Chuck Greenhill in his freshly-restored and painted J2F Duck. He had one big, silly grin on his face when he slid the canopy back.

Somebody else will have to handle Tuesday's report...I'll be back at Wittman on Wednesday afternoon.

Thanks for posting that Dan. Nice to hear one of FHC's aircraft is on display.

Liberty Bell made it. The French are here too. The first Hellcat I've seen here in quite a few years is sitting in Aeroshell Square along with 3 of the B-17's and the LB-30. It's nice to see a single seat Mk 9 Spit keeping company with the 2 seater. Haven't seen Fraska's Spit yet.

They did a great Heritage flight today with Glacier Girl, a P-51. Phantom and F-16 Viper/Fighting Falcon. The black Hawker Hunter put in a few passes today also along with 2 T-33's and some Albatrosses
