This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

us-aircraft.com update

Mon Jul 12, 2010 7:33 pm

hello all,

A few weeks back I descided I wanted to get the old website I used to be envolved with back going again. The site has been dead for a long time but it still contains a lot of material and I would hate to lose it. I am going part owner on the site. I plan to make regular updates sometime in the near future. No idea when yet. We also have a forum that I have been in charge with for years now. Despite the actual site being dead the forum is still alive. Not by much but still has some good info worth a browse. It's picked up activity so thats always a good thing. Us-aircraft.com has always been geared towards aviation history and modeling. Indepth discussion about really small details. And as such I will keep it like that. I will also focus on forgotten and little known stories of WWII and plan a revamp of the "Article" section. Also a note that us-aircraft has a niche for Pearl Harbor and P-40 subjects.

A little bit of history on the site: In the past, Us-aircraft.com was the focal point for a few historians and I guess you could add some credit to us-aircraft for uncovering some myths and the added information on a few subjects. Such as P-40 markings at Pearl Harbor thanks to David Aiken. The old forums are gone and we now have a new forum thats been up hosted by Proboards and has a lot of neat features.

In the near future I would be interested in anyone having anything they would like to share. I would be glad to get it up on the website. I am open to all subjects pertaining to U.S. aircraft and their history.

Well looks like maybe I am trying to sell the website a bit much. But anyhoo here is the address. I'll try to keep you updated and hope to see you on the forum. :D
