Thanks! Actually, some were taken while I was out
side standing, others when I was crouched on the floor of the Bamboo Bomber, some while kneeling...

Hey, I see me! I guess you could call that a WIX shot. But you got mostly the "Women of WIX" in that shot!

Amazing shots!

Geneseo, was GREAT Fun!!! It was a real thrill to have the Red Tail there again, kind of closed a big loop. That was the first scheduled show we had for the Airplane in 2001. ( I did a small local show the weekend before as a test hop) But to bring it back and see all the people who said they came specifically to see the airplane was incredible. The HAG did a great job of bringing a bunch of Kids out to the Airport on Thursday and Friday to hear Col Leo Gray, an original Tuskegee Airmen and see the planes. Sometimes we are having so much fun flying that it can be easy to forget the mission is to use the Airplanes as a tool to tell a story, and the folks at the HAG get that right!!!
It was a great time, and I was honored to be able to participate in it!!!!
Well Done to the HAG!!!
Tailwinds,
Doug Rozendaal
BTW, it was good to meet all the WIXers too and have some great home brew!!! Thanks!!!!!

Well said Doug,
We returned for the 4th time this year, and once again had a wonderful time in Austin's Yard.
Here are a couple of pics we took...

The human side of air-to-air shooting...the thought of "oh crap, this is all I'm gonna get" at this point:

Then the third plane comes up and it starts coming together and I'm thinking "if we only had five or six more Mustangs"! Hey, I'm human

You set the bar pretty high.

Nice seeing all the usual suspects. Met a bunch of new folks too.
I liked the varity of aircraft, of course 4 Mustangs ain't bad either.
Anyhow here are few from me.

And of course, the day's not over when the sun goes down.
