That 190 looks absolutely outstanding... but that prop really looks out of place on it. Why is it flying with a four blade prop, was there a problem with the three-blade unit?

Congrats. Everything you say sounds right and appropriate Matthias. As bad as the prop looks when stationary and on film, I'm sure it looks fine when turning -- and for film, there is always photoshop. The RAF Battle of Britain Memorial Flight still operates a Spitfire Mk.V with a 4-blader and most folks find it quite acceptable.

I'm sure the owner looks forward to trying out his toy for himself!

Hi Lynn,

yes there was a technical problem with the 3-blade-unit. Safety first, and so MeierMotors changed to the original 4-bladed-metal-propeller-unit. The 3-blade-unit seemed to be the reason for the crash (forced landing in the birch of Hyères) of F-AZZJ in Hyères SouthFrance. The 3-blade-unit is under examination by the officials, so we will see wether there was a problem or not. It is better then to change to the original parts. Later we will see. If the the 3-bladed-unit is safe, I think they will change it back. But in the air you won´t feel a difference.

Thats how MeierMotors work on the things: safety is the first thing, again safety the second, everything must be in best shape and best technical condition, otherwise the plane keeps grounded, no experiments. I think they prooved and checked the bird thousend times and yesterday everything was safe and perfect !
