Did this site go down or did they just loose there URL. The url leads you to a domain company placeholder right now. I hate when this happens. Alot of good information goes away when these sites fail. If your a web master of a site that has alot of information on military aviation and you can't run it or afford it anymore, e-mail me. I might be able to help or at least be able to preserve the information.

I am on an e-mail list with the webmaster of heavybombers.com. I sent him an e-mail asking him what the status was on the website and your offer to help out if there are any problems. I will let you know when I hear something.

HeavyBombers.com has been shut down and replaced with

http://www.armyairforces.com

All the same information that the Heavy Bombers site had, but now includes all the Army Air Forces stuff.

The webmaster is the grandson of a B-17 crewman with the 381st BG who was KIA if I recall correctly. The website started as a search for information on his grandfather and just grew from there. Lots of good stuff on his website.
