Hi all

Well we keep the good stuff happening down here.

Reliable sources say a Victorian owner has aquired an airworthy Corsair and that it is on it's way from the US and will be based in Victoria.

Sorry you will wait for details as I don't need to say more but it will certainly be a boost bringing the Corsair population in Aus to 3 with the Tyabb example being restored in Darwing and the Murray Griffiths early model soon to arrive at Wangarrata for restoration - Not bad considering that as a breed Corsairs were extinct in Aus until a few years ago.

Also just recieved news that a P40 is coming to Australia from NZ for restoration , being an ex RNZAF machine and is fairly complete - again I can't yet release details but it will be a nice addition to the local scene.

Regards
John P

I can only think of 4 "fairly complete" ( I'm assuming you mean unrestored) ex-RNZAF P-40s, 3 of them would be major coups if someone got their hands on them. :?
