I took it to a car show yesterday to get it Dyno tested, I received many sneers and a lot of not so friendly comments. Because it was the only American car at VW/Euro show. But after the Dyno all of the sneers and unfriendly comments turned to smiles and slaps on the back!

Remember, torque does the work, not Hp. Your peak torque is at 4600rpm.

Is that a factory installed blower?

Congrats! Looks like a nice one. I like the driving lights in the center of the grille.

I just picked up a (Ford) Mustang myself a couple weeks ago. An 03 GT. Not as exciting as your SC'd pony.

Torque is where it's at! But this is only a 281cid small block, so it's not really going to get the torque of the big block. Look at the torque curve. Its most effective between 1500-4500rpm. I like that! The blower is dealer installed.

You can tell anyone sneering that here in Germany the new Mustangs are very popular when they can be purchased....Most euro gearheads drive vw's etc. to work because of fuel price (@ $1.50 Euro per Litre) but keep the "Hot" car in the garage for the weekend.
The Corvette remains very popular but the new Mustangs are starting to get quite a following...

Funny thing is most of the V dubs were 1979 and later, meaning they were made in Mexico! How Euro is that?

Very nice, I love Mustangs and have had 3. I was looking to buy my 4th, a 06 GT convertible a couple weeks ago but ended up getting a Dodge Dakota. Can't carry drywall and building material in a Mustang so the truck was is a bit more practicle. My wifes car will need replacing soon, maybe I can talk her into a 2011 GT, now that they've brought back the 5.0L!

Did you bring it to the Heritage Flight Museum for the P-51 Mustang / Mustang Car & Airshow in Bellingham on the weekend?

Nathan,

With the exception of the new CHALLENGER where they hit a home run vs. the 'CARS' look of the front ends of new CAMARO and CAMRY, I'll fall back to something a friend told me many, many decades ago-"owning a DODGE is like being married to an ugly woman, around the house it's great but-you'd rather not be seen in public with one'

I bleed little blue ovals

There is always the Hot Rodders Prayer,

'My -------------is my auto I shall not want, it leadeth me in the paths of ridicule for it's names sake,
YEA, though I ride through the valleys, I am towed up the hills, my rods and my crank discomfort me,
Surely goodness and mercy, this will leave me in the nut house forever.
