Gimli Canada Tanker, C-46 & DC-3 Action at its best

I ran across this site about the Town of Gimli and the Air Tankers and Cargos that run out of the airport. I was talking with one of the guys from Collings this week about c-46's and he mentioned he flew with Air Manitioba. Check it out and go allthe way down for some really great shots. Not my pics so i'm not posting them here.

The Canadian feds pulled First Nations' (FNT) certificate last year. The DC-3s and C-46s need a "safety upgrade" ( :?: ) before they can fly again.

hey check out buffalo airways website they operate a number of vintage planes they also have a history channel series about them cool show
