This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

Their lead singer, Bruce Dickinson (not the 'more cowbell' Bruce Dickerson from SNL) is a rated 757 Captain and flew the group on it's 666 world tour a couple of years ago.

Let's not forget Ultravox from 1982:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VDspWsK_-vQGary Numan, big hit was "Cars" is flying the plane in this vid of his:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DDwui2n0rd8Some years ago a Brit music mag had a write-up on him owning a T-6 and flying airshows in it. Last tour I saw him he performed wearing a flight suit.
As for Bruce Dickinson, I have had the fortune of meeting him a number of times and he is the nicest person in rock and roll ever. He is crazy for aviation, and a most down to earth individual. Back in the 90"s when he was working on his commercial ating he owned a Zlin, and enjoyed aerobatics.

Meatloaf's "Objects in the Rear View Mirror May Appear Closer Than They Are."
It tells the story of two young boys who dream of flying. It has a Tiger Moth and a Bucker (seemingly used interchangably) and Stearman in the background.
Also, The Highwaymen's (Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, et al) Highwayman.
It has an F-20.
If you're into mid 80s rock...The Clash's video of "Rock the Casbah" has a Vietnam-era camo Phantom landing in it. It was current at the time, now it's a warbird.
And a bit more modern, (rather like the F-14s in the Top Gun video) the UK group Oasis uses British Army Lynx helicopters in their video of "D'You Know What I Mean?"
The video was obviously made with Army cooperation, but a few years later they forced the removal of one of their songs from a recruiting ad saying they were against the war and military. Can you spell hypocrite?
I still love Benatar's "Shadows of the Night", as mentioned above.
Anyone know if the Mustang ad/poster seen in the video is a real ad or just a prop?

Leave me breathless by the Coors features a DC-3 and the whole video takes place at an old airfield. And they are hot.
I wanna love you forever by Jessica Simpson features her and a biplane. I can't remember what kind, maybe a Waco? Plus she is hot.
The Pat Bennatar video also has the guy that went on to play a cop in the Beverly Hills Cop movies.

Night Ranger: 7 Wishes
I know this does not count as a "video" as such, but the album cover art sure is pure Warbird. Found the LP in the local HalfPriceBooks and just had to buy it and hang the album on my wall.
