Yesterday I attended the Tiger Boy’s annual fly-in at Guelph, Ontario and caught Cam, WIXer Fleet 16B, having some fun. The weather was hit and miss all day but at least there was no rain and lots of people were able to take Tiger Moth rides. For anyone in the area they will be flying again today.

More on the event when I finish editing the images.

Y'know, I thought Ol' Cam was a better tractor driver than that, when harvesting...

Wouldn't that be more "Crop Plowing" at that point?

In any case those are some beautiful pictures of a beautiful airplane.

Thanks for posting!

Peace,

David McIntosh

Eric:

Pictures 2,3 &4 are timeless, in that they could have been taken in the Fall of 1941-42 or 43.

Nice work!!

Cheers,

Tom Walsh.

That's like showing a hungry man a photo of a donut. Say hello to those guys, we really enjoyed our ride at Niagara South with those folks. May there always be Fleets and Tiger Moths and green and gold fields beneath their wings.

There are a lot of guys that love all the new trechno things like cell phones and GPS. I ahve had a couple of Tiger Moth flights and never found anything missing.

Thanks everyone. Cam and everyone at Guelph had another great day of flying. Lots of interesting aircraft and relaxed atmosphere.

Lovely pictures of a lovely and very well-cared-for aircraft. Flown by an owner who knows every nut and bolt on it.

Interesting gear geometry. No wonder Finches can take a "dirty dart" on pavement at touchdown.

That photo of him coming up out of the corn is truly remarkable!

Hey Eric
Thanks for posting those great pics of me and the old Fleet
and thanks guys for all the entertaining comments

However, upon looking closer, I see that the Fleet in the corn is actually my buddy Bruce flying the other Fleet Finch (#4488)
I am surprised that I did not notice this right away as my fly-by's are never that high and are always lower than his  :P

Looks great!

I wish I had some nice fall color and weather. The mid 90's is getting really old. Better than 30 but...
