What are your likes and dislikes on websites

Light colored text over light colored backgrounds! If they want us to go blind they can just poke us in the eye with a stick!

My computer geek (the guy who built my CPU) told me to stay the he!! away from all these blog sites (Facebook, Twitter, etc.) unless I wanted to risk hackers and other undesirables weaseling their way into my computer.

THank you everyone. This data is priceless, and will play a huge part in the development of the new website. Perhaps we would want to do a test run as JDK mentioned. Would you guys be interested in being the test pilots for this? What better than warbird people to test an air museum's site.

Keep it simple. I just had a problem with some sites not working. This was one of them. I don't know what the others do differently, I would find out and copy them. Also it seems alot of sites have spy cookies that piggy back or something, cause I don't have to go to many before I have a collection of them that spy sweeper finds.

Handy Hint: Whenever I run into web page situations where poor contrast makes reading tedious, I highlight the text as if I wanted to copy & paste. This causes both font and background colors to change, usually in a way that greatly improves the matter. I also highlight a small bit of text to make a "place marker" when scrolling down on lengthy text-rich web pages.
