Haha! Well definitely not me.

Raybestos is doing a photoshoot of their RPU and they are going to make the model look like my pin up girl that I drew for them.

That could be a source for a fundraiser. People would have to give us money to put our clothes back on. I am sure we'd have a ton of people trying to give us money. :lol:

Chad that would be a fun idea, for a future event. We want to have a reenactor weekend. It would be cool to have a girl stand in as the nose art. It was a hit with Marine's Dream at the WWII Weekend in Reading.

You have to have the scruffiest re-enactor you can find wearing the swimsuit stuffed with grapefruit (in appropriate places) or would that be for like a Navy re-enactment than and Air Force one? :shock:

Our small group is in the planning stages for taking the tail off of MLB, bringing the tail inside for restoration this winter. We would like to do more, but this is what our budget will permit for now. If there is anyone that knows where to get acess to drawings for a Cheyenne tail, please let me know. This information would be a huge help to not only Grissom, but to a Gentleman in the UK who is currently wanting to restore a Cheyenne tail form the wreckage of another B-17G from the 305th BG. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Rob- Can Do /G\

THe plans right now are to have it done, and take it to Oshkosh with us for a display.

Hi Ian, Jim is working on a news letter as we speak, there is just alot going on, and he is trying to make it as up to date as possible. If you have a few more pieces to spare, we would love them. Rob and I would rather you send them to that address I gave you so that we personally can oversee their display and preservation. The museum is currently moving around and redoing displays. So this would be the perfect time. Thanks for everything you have done for us Ian.
