Doing a documentary on the Naval Air Station in Olathe. How might I find some Stearman/N2S in the region? There is one here at the KC CAF, but I really need "yellow Perils." I need three or four and can pay for fuel.
At the same time what is the closest -4 or -5 Corsair to Kansas City?
Thanks for any help.

Did you want flying or non flying with your Corsair?
Non flying would be the one at the air museum in Liberal, KS
Flying would probably be the CAF's in Texas, but it's a dash 1D....not sure of the closest 4 or 5, maybe Gerry Beck's up in North Dakota.

Mike George, who occassionally posts on WIX, is in Illinois and has a Dash 5 and Dave Folk is in Michigan and also has a Dash-5.

There is at least one navy painted Stearman here in Tulsa, OK and at least one N3N as well. Can put you in touch with those guys if you wish.
